You may be aware that the Commonwealth and State Governments are planning to change the funding arrangements for aged and disability care services, which will allow consumers to have direct control of their funding dollars.
In light of this change the City felt that it was necessary to find out how these changes would affect our services and what may be necessary to ensure the best quality of care is available to our clients both now and into the future. In November 2015 the City engaged Ansell Strategic to provide us with an independent review of our services.
Ansell Strategic's report was formally received by Council at a Special Council Meeting on 26 April 2016 where it was resolved to communicate the findings and seek community feedback.
Ansell Strategic presented their findings at three community forums and gave the public an opportunity to ask questions. The forums were recorded.

Unfortunately due to a technical issue, the video of the forum on 11 June is unavailable, the City apologises for any inconvenience.
