Restoration Projects

The City of Canning manages restoration projects to help rehabilitate degraded or unstable areas and improve water quality. The City undertakes many of these projects in affiliation with the Swan River Trust, local community groups and local schools. Some of the restoration projects that the City is commonly involved with include:

  • Riverbank erosion control;
  • Riverbank drain swale installation;
  • Drainage line restoration; and
  • Bushland revegetation.
