All Council halls are available for hire from 6am to midnight.
The majority are looked after by local agents who can give you information on the venue, take your booking and provide you with the key.

Bentley Community Centre
Main hall seats 150. Stage & dressing room, piano, PA system. 2 Meeting rooms. Kitchen and tea making facilities. Whiteboards to walls of some rooms. Air conditioned. Canning Vale Community Centre
Air conditioned main hall, seats 120 plus a meeting room. Good kitchen facilities. Large foyer area gives access to health clinic and other areas. Adjoins local sports fields and has ample parking. Easy access for people with mobility disabilities. Booking Information: 9231 0610
Canning Vale Pavilion (Limited availability)
Canning Vale Oval, The Ramble
Sporting pavilion serving Canning Vale Oval. Has small meeting room suitable for committee meetings, playgroups, children's activities. Limited access for people with disabilities. Booking Information: Recreation Services - Ph: 9231 0610 during office hours.
Small carpeted meeting room adjacent to Ranford Primary School, with kitchen/tea making facilities. Ideally suited for meetings, classes out of school hours. Good access for people with disabilities. Booking Information: contact the City of Canning.

Cnr of Wharf and Sevenoaks St Cannington
Opening in 2012, the Cannington Leisureplex is a state of the art multi-purpose aquatic and recreation facility. The Function Centre comprises of function and meeting rooms and a pre-function area (with balconies and a commercial kitchen). Each area has removable walls to accommodate small meetings and functions for up to 220 people. The centre is available for functions on Friday and Saturday evenings and available at various times for activities and meetings. Stage pieces, chairs, tables and a sound system are available for use. For group bookings, there are two sports courts, a kids gym, crèche and aquatics facilities available. Canning Town Hall
Cnr George Street & Albany Highway
This 1909 heritage building has undergone extensive renovation in time for its centenary and is now available for hire. It has a proscenium arch stage (with very limited off-stage area), main hall area capable of seating approx 150 auditorium style, a mezzanine floor overlooking the main auditorium, kitchen, servery and 2 meeting rooms. Suitable use includes conferences, product launch, performances, limited social functions, workshops, meetings. A beautifully restored 1874 house originally built by Francis Bird, architect and timber mill owner. Delightful gardens set off the old building. The reconstructed "Church with the Chimney" is on the same property. Available for weddings, naming ceremonies and the like by arrangement. Not suitable for social functions. Lynwood Wandarrah Hall
Edgeware Street, Lynwood
Attractive larger hall seats 180 with stage, piano and PA system and excellent kitchen facilities. Wooden floor. Also available for hire is the Committee room which seats 25. Hossack Avenue, Parkwood
Light and airy hall with vinyl floor; seats up to 100 with kitchen facilities. Accessible facilities. Set in a public park with playground and BBQ facilities and sports area with ample parking. Contact Recreation Services on 9231-0610.
Whaleback Function Centre
A Function Centre with a limited licence for activities related to the adjoining Whaleback Public Golf Course. Queens Park Neighbourhood Centre
Maniana Road North
The Centre consists of a hall that is leased out to a community organisation, premises for the local kindergarten and changerooms for the adjoining sports fields. Queens Park Seniors Centre

Harry Turner Pavilion
Treasure Rd, Queens Park
The hall opened in July 2012, seats 80 and overlooks Queens Park Reserve. The hall hire fee includes chairs, tables and kitchen facilities, which include an upright fridge/freezer and domestic sized stove with oven and 4 hotplates. The building has accessible features and ample parking. The hall can be booked in conjunction with the park, subject to availability. Bill Cole Function
Centre Cnr High & Riley Rds
A modern, attractive facility consisting of a main function hall, pre-function/pre-dinner drinks area and 3 meeting/multipurpose rooms, kitchen and storage areas, located within the Riverton Leisureplex. Main hall, licensed for 290 people, with a heat and serve kitchen, enclosed courtyard, optional stage, tables & chairs is available for functions on Friday and Saturday nights. Canning Arts Centre

Home to the Canning Arts Group, Workshop Camera Club, and the Guild of Woodcarvers the Centre has workshop and meeting areas for art, craft activities and classes. Willetton Sports & Community Centre (formerly known as Burrendah)
Burrendah Boulevard, Willetton
Main Lounge seats up to 200 people with excellent kitchen facilities, bar area on mezzanine level, stage and PA system. Main lounge area is carpeted with a wooden dance floor and small raised area as a stage. Hire fee includes 200 chairs and 20 tables. Good accessibility features. Club Room seats up to 50 people in a bar/lounge setting. No access to kitchen but there are facilities such as water behind the bar. Floor is carpeted. Suitable venue for sporting club use and meetings. Contact Recreation Services on 9231-0610.
Cnr Braibrise & Armstrong Rds

Centenary Reserve, Centenary Avenue, Wilson
The airconditioned hall opened in October 2011, seats 80 and overlooks Centenary Reserve. The hall is available for social functions, meetings and similar and the hall hire fee includes chairs, tables and access to the kitchen. The kitchen facilities include an upright fridge/freezer and domestic sized stove with an oven and 4 hotplates. There is also a courtyard with barbecues, a children’s playground nearby, disabled access and ample parking. The hall can be booked in conjunction with the park, subject to availability.
