Pets are a part of the lives of many people in the City of Canning. Sometimes they wander or get lost and can end up at the City Animal Care Facility.

This site will bring you photos of the dogs held at the Facility so you can reclaim your pet or give a home to an animal that needs one.

If you are looking for somewhere to exercise your dog, please check the maps on this page that illustrate the areas in which you can have your dog off the leash. At all other times, please make sure your dog is on a leash.

Remember that whilst owning a dog can be lots of fun, it also comes with responsibility.  Make sure your dog is registered, properly trained and housed.
