About Our Libraries

BENTLEY LIBRARY

Bentley was the first of the City of Canning libraries to open, in 1967, but the present building is more recent, having been built to replace the original library which burnt down in 1975. Everything in the library at the time was lost, but fortunately there were no injuries to patrons or staff.

Bentley is the smallest of the four libraries, but still offers a collection of almost 25,000 items, and is open for service every day except Sunday.
