Major events

The City of Canning’s vision is to create a welcome and thriving city that is recognised for the opportunities it offers all residents and visitors.

Events play an important role in the cultural fabric of our community and provide significant cultural, economic and social benefit. They act to connect people and the community together and help foster a shared sense of place, celebrating the diversity of our people, place and experiences.

We have a jam-packed calendar of events ready for the 2023-2024 season, and thanks to your feedback over the previous year, we have lots of improvements planned to make our events event bigger and better than before – whilst continuing to meet the needs of our community.

To keep up to date with our future events and updates or view a previous event's photos, be sure you follow our Facebook page. Make sure you also sign up to our Community eNewsletter to keep up to date with ALL the City's free programs and events happening near you.
