OneCouncil Outage FAQs

The City’s request and payment system will be unavailable from 8am on Friday 7 June until midday Monday 10 June.

The outage is to allow for scheduled maintenance on our systems.

What is the Request It system?

The Request It system is the City’s online request portal which the community can use to contact the City to provide feedback, make an enquiry, register an animal, submit an application, or request a range of services including park maintenance, bins and trees.

Why is the Request It system down?

The City is undertaking scheduled maintenance on our computer system and the Request It system needs to be taken offline during this time.

How will this impact the community?

Community members will not be able to access the City’s Request It system for the duration of the outage.

The City’s payments system will also be offline during this period.

How long will it be down for?

Request It and payments will not be available from 8.00am on Friday 7 June until 6.00am Monday 10 June.

How can I contact the City during this time?

For urgent enquiries or requests, community members can contact the City through our after-hours phone service – please call 1300 4 CANNING (1300 422 664).

To submit a non-urgent request during the outage, please complete the online form.

Will the after-hours phone service still be available?

Yes, the phone number is 1300 422 664.

Will the City of Canning website still be online?

Yes, please continue to refer to our website for information.

What happens if I log a non-urgent request during this time?

Our Contact Centre team will allocate to the appropriate business area on Monday 10 June.

What happens to any existing requests I’ve logged?

Theses should not be affected. Any existing requests will remain logged and will be attended to as planned.
