Carols by Candlelight

Tis the season! Get in the Christmas spirit with the annual Carols by Candlelight! ๐ŸŽ…๐ŸŽ„๐ŸŽ

Bring a picnic blanket, chairs, the whole family and your best singing voices to share a night of music, dancing, sparkling lights and merry tunes.

Featuring the Canning City Brass Band, Rossmoyne Community Singers, Avenue Jazz Band plus two brand new soloists singing old favourites and new additions.

Due to COVID-19 and ensuring the safety of all patrons, the City will be limiting numbers at this event to ensure physical distancing can be managed.

This requires you to register for a free ticket which allows you entry and also means the City can contact trace if required as per our COVID Event Plan.

Your ticket/s will be emailed to you which you can print or present on your phone on the event day for scanning by our friendly staff.

One ticket per person is required, though you may grab 5 at a time.
Children/babies under the age of one (1) do not require a ticket.

Bring your own picnic and beverages, or purchase something from one of the many tasty food trucks.
Free water is provided so bring along your reusable water bottle (and coffee cup!)

How do I get to the Civic Amphitheatre?
The Civic Amphitheatre is located behind Council offices at the corner of George Street West and 1317 Albany Highway, Cannington.
Free parking is available off George Street West and Carden Drive. Bike racks are also nearby as well as a bus stop on Albany Highway right out the front of the Council building.

Is the event accessible?
ACROD parking and accessible toilets are available as well as a viewing platform for those in wheelchairs. This will be marked clearly with signage.

We all love our fur babies and dogs are certainly permitted at the Civic Amphitheatre, however please ensure they remain on a leash at all times. We also recommend considering if your dog may get a little frightened by the loud atmosphere.

First Aid
St John Ambulance will be onsite if you require medical attention.

Lost property
Lost property will be collected and stored with the City Events Team. Any lost property not collected will be available at the City of Canning Civic Centre and you can ring us on Monday to see if we have your lost items.

There will be no ATMs on site but all of our vendors have EFTPOS facilities if you are looking to purchase food and drink.

Everything onsite is FREE besides the food trucks of course! If you would like to purchase from the food trucks, they accept cash or EFTPOS.
