Carols by Candlelight 2021

Tis the season! Get in the Christmas spirit with the annual Carols by Candlelight! ๐ŸŽ…๐ŸŽ„๐ŸŽ

Bring a picnic blanket, chairs, the whole family and your best singing voices to share a night of music, dancing, sparkling lights and merry tunes.

Featuring the Canning City Brass Band, Rossmoyne Community Singers, Avenue Jazz Band plus a new addition, Divalicious!

Comic sopranos Penny Shaw and Fiona Cooper Smyth met as members of West Australian Opera and formed the duo DivaLicious. Finalist of Australia’s Got Talent 2012, they gained national recognition.  Combining their beautiful voices with their witty humour, DivaLicious have brought new meaning to the operatic form as they harness its highlights and mix musical theatre with the best-loved cross-over songs. DivaLicious have produced four acclaimed shows: Divalicious – Opera Rocks!, DivaLicious – Licence to Trill!, DivaLicious and The Impresario – all performed at Fringe World Festival Perth and Sydney Opera House, plus their latest show: DivaLicious – Defying Gravity!

This year we are super excited to have the Waste Warriors, KINN&Co and Happy Green World on board as our sustainability partners! There are three key things you need to know โ™ป๏ธ๐ŸŒ

1. BYO - patrons are encouraged to bring your own plates/containers, cutlery and cups from home to enjoy your meals/beverages. We have a cold, filtered water tank on site, please bring your own refillable water bottle too.

2. Buy an Eat Kit - if you can’t BYO we will have Market Eat Kits to purchase at a subsidised rate from our Waste Warriors.

3. Use the dedicated WASTE STATIONS to dispose of your waste. These stations will be manned by some awesome volunteers, who will ensure all waste is disposed of correctly.
This will feature Containers for Change bins - with all funds raised going to the Happy Green World Foundation to print waste education books for children in 8 countries in West Africa.
Please bring your reusable water bottle to fill up at our water station (and coffee cup for a hot drink!)
