Tis the season! Get in the Christmas spirit with the annual Carols by Candlelight! 🎅🎄🎁
Bring a picnic blanket, chairs, the whole family and your best singing voices to share a night of music, dancing, sparkling lights and merry tunes. This is a free unticketed event.
Featuring the Canning City Brass Band, Rossmoyne Community Singers, Avenue Jazz Band plus Earl Cole!
Jessie James will be your MC for the evening, taking you on a journey of Christmas songs and carols to get in the Christmas spirit
You may recognise Jessie from our previous events such as the Family Fun Australia Day and Canning Art Awards, Jessie can also be seen on Channel 7’s Fresh TV, Caravan & Camping WA, Fresh Escapes and WA Weekender where she smiles her way around WA and the world.
Jessie’s first love is the stage, and her list of productions is growing strong. In 2020, she rocked Perth’s Crown Theatre in Ben Elton’s ‘We Will Rock You’ (Teacher/Aretha Franklin Bohemian), 2019 Regal Theatre in ‘The Wizard of Oz’ (Ms Gulch), 2018 Regal Theatre for ‘Legally Blonde’ (Elle’s Mom) and was also a part of Gordon Frost’s ‘The Sound of Music’ at Crown Theatre Perth in 2016….and she’ll be back on stage with Perth’s best April 2021 as Elle’s Mum in ‘Legally Blonde’!
Earl Cole 🎶 Best known for covering the music of Michael Buble, Frank Sinatra and all the great jazz and swing crooners. Shortly after the passing of Frank Sinatra in 1998, Australian crooner Earl Cole put together a Sinatra tribute called New York, New York and performed sell out shows at a small suburban café in Perth. Over 20 years later Earl has proven to be one of Western Australia’s premier vocalists.

We are super excited to have the Waste Warriors on board as our sustainability partners! There are three key things you need to know ♻️🌏

2. Buy an Eat Kit - if you can’t BYO we will have Market Eat Kits to purchase at a subsidised rate from our Waste Warriors.
3. Use the dedicated WASTE STATIONS to dispose of your waste. These stations will be manned by some awesome volunteers, who will ensure all waste is disposed of correctly.
This will feature Containers for Change bins - with all funds raised going to the Happy Green World Foundation to print waste education books for children in 8 countries in West Africa.
Please bring your reusable water bottle to fill up at our water station (and coffee cup for a hot drink!)

We all love our fur babies and dogs are certainly permitted at the Civic Amphitheatre, however please ensure they remain on a leash at all times. We also recommend considering if your dog may get a little frightened by the loud atmosphere.
