Carols by Candlelight

Featuring the Canning City Brass Band, Rossmoyne Community Singers, Avenue Jazz Band plus soloist Sarah Jackson, singalong to classic and new carols with roving entertainment plus kid's craft activities. Make your very own wreath to take home and decorate Christmas stars, or listen to some Christmas stories with our Canning libraries team.

Don't forget a special visit from Father Christmas and his helper!

Concert start is 6:45pm. Come along early to set up your picnic space, grab a bite from one of the food trucks and enjoy the open-air space set amongst nature.

What do I bring?
Bring your own picnic and beverages, or purchase something from one of the many tasty food trucks.
Free water is provided so bring along your reusable water bottle (and coffee cup!)
Chairs are allowed however larger camping style chairs are requested to be placed toward the middle & back of the Amphitheatre. This will be marked clearly with signage.
Mosquito spray and a jumper for when the breeze comes in!

When does the concert start?
The event opens at 5:30pm with a 6:45pm concert start. Enjoy a number of free activities before the show.

How do I get to the Civic Amphitheatre?
The Civic Amphitheatre is located behind Council offices at the corner of George Street West and 1317 Albany Highway, Cannington.
Free parking is available off George Street West and Carden Drive. Bike racks are also nearby as well as a bus stop on Albany Highway right out the front of the Council building.

Is the event accessible?
ACROD parking and accessible toilets are available as well as a viewing platform for those in wheelchairs. This will be marked clearly with signage.

We all love our fur babies and dogs are certainly permitted at the Civic Amphitheatre, however please ensure they remain on a leash at all times. We also recommend considering if your dog may get a little frightened by the loud atmosphere.

First Aid
St John Ambulance will be onsite if you require medical attention.

Lost property
Lost property will be collected and stored with the City Events Team. Any lost property not collected will be available at the City of Canning Civic Centre and you can ring us on Monday to see if we have your lost items.

There will be no ATMs on site but all of our vendors have EFTPOS facilities if you are looking to purchase food and drink.

Everything onsite is FREE besides the food trucks of course! If you would like to purchase from the food trucks, they accept cash or EFTPOS.
