Community Gardens Tour

Come on a tour of the community gardens in the City of Canning.

Beginning at Willetton Community Garden, we will observe composting and community partnering in action. Then onto Bentley Community Garden for a tour of their space and to sample some fresh garden produce. Our final stop is at Cannington Community Garden to see their very productive vermiculture system with worm cafes throughout the garden.

If you have never been to a community garden before, join us for an informative session to begin your own journey in gardening and the recycling of organic waste.

Morning tea will be served at Cannington Community Garden.

Suitable for adults.

Meet at 9am at Willetton Community Garden Association at 6 Glenmoy Avenue Willetton.

Please wear suitable shoes, wear a hat and sunscreen and bring a water bottle. Car pooling is encouraged. New members are always welcome at the Community Gardens.
