Creating Bird and Biodiversity Friendly Gardens
BirdLife Australia is Australia's largest member-based conservation organisation, working for more than a century to advocate for bird and bird habitat conservation.
At this event, you will hear from conservation scientist, Dr Rochelle Steven, as she shares expert advice what you can do (and not do) to create a garden that is a safe haven for our beautiful native birds and biodiversity. Learn why Australia's birds need more than the odd grevillea and banksia to truly thrive in the ever expanding urban landscape.
Bring a notebook for jotting down ideas.
Afternoon tea will be served after the talk with time for discussion.
Date: Saturday 7 October 2023
Time: 2pm to 4pm
Venue: CREEC, Cnr Kent St and Queens Park Rd, Wilson
Cost: $10.00
Audience: Suitable for children and adults
