Sad about farewelling the holiday season heading back to the drudgery of school and work? Give yourself a mid-week treat and hop aboard the Mediterranean Love Boat. Come with us and venture across to the warm calm waters of the Mediterranean sea docking at the ports of Spain, Turkey, Italy, Greece, France and Portugal to name but a few. Let us delight your senses with a parade of food, music, entertainment and good times. 🙌️🎉
Mid Week Eats is an immersive experience featuring exotic foods, cultural performances and music to transport you across the globe.
Enjoy the balmy summer nights by bringing along something to sit on, a bottle or two of your favourite drop and partake in the festivities by tasting delectable food and soaking up the atmosphere under the canopy of leafy trees .🌎
What About The Kids?
Children can jump, run and shake it out in the Kids Village with the awesome Ready Steady Go Kids and their many sporting activities. Think cricket, tennis, basketball and more! ️⚽️🎾️🏀️🏏

What do I bring?
✔️Bring your own picnic and beverages/a bottle of your favourite drop, or purchase something from one of the many tasty food trucks
✔️Seating - including camp chairs and picnic blankets
✔️Mosquito spray and a jumper for when the breeze comes in!
✔️Keep cup for coffees and reusable water bottles

How do I get to Riverton Reserve?
Mid Week Eats is located at Riverton Reserve next to the Riverton Leisureplex at 67 Riley Road.
Free shared parking is available at the Leisureplex facility with an overflow parking facility available also which includes free bike racks for those considering riding their bikes down. 🚲🚶

Is the event accessible?
ACROD parking and accessible toilets are available as well as additional facilities inside the Leisureplex (please note this building closes at 8:30pm)
We all love our fur babies and dogs are certainly permitted at Mid Week Eats, however please ensure they remain on a leash at all times. Given the number of small children and other dogs, we recommend only social/well behaved pups.
Should you have any specific dietary requirements, we recommend you check out the Facebook page or this page where each food truck will be listed. You can jump onto their pages and peruse their menu.We will do our best to ensure we provide Halal, vegan, vegetarian, dairy free and gluten free catering options.However, It is the customer's responsibility to ensure they check that their food choices suit their diet.
St John Ambulance will be onsite if you require medical attention.
Lost property will be collected and stored with the City Events Team. Any lost property not collected will be available at the City of Canning Civic Centre and you can ring us on Friday to see if we have your lost items.
In the event of bad weather, please check the City of Canning Facebook Page where we will update you with any changes or cancellations. You can also subscribe to any updates by selecting 'Going' or 'Interested' on the Facebook event.
There will be no ATMs on site but all of our vendors have EFTPOS facilities if you are looking to purchase food and drink.
Everything onsite is FREE besides the food trucks of course! If you would like to purchase from the food trucks, they accept cash or EFTPOS.
Photography and Videography
We will have event photographers and videographers documenting the event. If you do not want your photo taken, please let the camera person know.
The City is committed to ensuring the best possible safety for event patrons, staff and suppliers at our events in relation to COVID-19. We will be implementing:
✖️ Hand Sanitizer stations
✖️ Professional cleaning and disinfection regimes for event venue with professional cleaners
✖️ Display signage throughout to remind individuals to maintain good hand hygiene and respiratory etiquette
✖️ Hands-free basins with liquid soap in toilet facilities
✖️ Reminders for volunteers and staff not to attend if they are unwell, have been in contact with a positive COVID-19 patient, are awaiting COVID-19 test results or have been instructed to self-isolate
We ask event attendees to remember to:
❗ Practise good personal hygiene (wash hands often with soap and water, or hand sanitiser and cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue or use your elbow)
❗ Stay home if unwell and if you are experiencing flu-like symptoms get tested for COVID-19
❗ Follow the appropriate mask wearing guidelines at the time of the event.
