Recycled Puppet Workshop for Kids- Workshop 1

The White Ibis is an amazingly resourceful bird and is often seen around the Canning River and throughout Perth. Here at the City of Canning we have our very own Bindi the White Ibis, who is part of our Waste team, helping community members sort and reduce their waste.

During this free, fun and hands-on workshop children will work with artist Chloe Flockart to create an Ibis puppet of their very own, learning about their adaptive abilities, and how you can help this amazing species simply through understanding recycling and what goes in which bin.

The session lasts 1 hour 15 mins. All materials are supplied. The session is suitable for ages 7-12.

There is a max of 15 children per workshop. Please book one ticket per child.

Please note: All children must be accompanied by an adult. The event organisers do not assume duty of care for your child. We encourage you to get hands on with your kids and have a go!
