The revamped Willetton Library reopened to the public from Monday 19 July.
Consultation on the upgrade began in November 2019 and we encouraged our locals to be vocal. We heard from over 5,000 community members on what was important to them for a proposed upgrade.
From your feedback, key features of the new Willetton Library include:
- a modern look and feel
- dedicated places for reading, study and play
- better connection to the outdoors.
You can find key information and an in-depth look at the community feedback on the final design concept as the Willetton Library upgrade progressed on our YourSay Page
. And keep up-to-date by following Canning Libraries on Facebook

We hope you love this new space as much as we do and hope you will also be able to join us for our opening event on Sunday 8 August!
