Women in Business - Over Coffee : Shift Your Mindset - Tackling Imposter Syndrome
The Business Over Coffee series returns for a special series for Women in Business in partnership with Behind The Brands!
The series retains its popular format, giving you the chance to join an hour long discussion. Unlike a traditional workshop - it is designed to enable local businesses to access expert business advisors in an informal Q&A style setting.
- The sessions will be largely driven by attendees who are encouraged to participate by sharing real life problems/issues/frustrations that impact their businesses and ask questions.
- The advisors will be there to provide practical and specific advice for the benefit of all attendees who may also be experiencing similar issues or challenges.
- Each session has been scheduled to run for one hour with participants free to stay or leave earlier given the informal nature of the event
Session 2 : Imposter Syndrome - Shift Your Mindset
Wednesday, 21 August 2019; 9.45am for a 10am start - 11am
Location: Riverton Library, 67 Riley Road, Riverton
Do you ever feel like you’re just waiting for someone to find you out? That you’ve managed to pull the wool over everyone’s eyes for so long and it’s just a matter of time before life as you know it comes crashing down due to people finally figuring out that you’ve managed to fool them all. It’s exhausting, isn’t it?
We are hounded by perfectionism and fear of failure. Many of us are suffering in silence – not knowing that others experience this crippling self- doubt, self-loathing and fear of failure. Join in this safe, tell all session where we break the isolation and learn how to tame the beast with tools/strategies to help break the paralysis that follows when we are struggling under the weight of imposter syndrome.
