2024 King's Birthday Operating Hours

Civic and Administration Centre

The City of Canning Civic and Administration Building will be closed for the King's Birthday on Monday 23 September 2024 and will reopen at 8.15am, Tuesday 24 September 2024.

Waste Collection

Collection services for rubbish or recycling, will be operating as normal.

Waste Transfer Station

The Ranford Road Resource Recovery and Waste Transfer Station will be open as normal on the King's Birthday: 8am – 4.30pm (vehicle entry closes at 4.15pm).

Ranger and Community Safety Services

Our Ranger and Community Safety Services will continue to operate 24 hours a day. For requests of an immediate or urgent nature, please call on 1300 422 664. Press option 1 during the closure period to report urgent requests.

All libraries will be closed on Monday 23 September 2024 and will reopen on Tuesday 24 September 2024.

Hillview Intercultural Community Centre

The Hillview Intercultural Community Centre will be closed on Monday 23 September. Bookings for facilities at Hillview will still be available for this day, however, are subject to approval by management.

Canning River Eco Education Centre (CREEC)

CREEC will be closed on Monday 23 September 2024 and will reopen on Tuesday 24 September 2024.

Leisureplexes

The Cannington and Riverton Leisureplexes will be open on Monday 23 September 2024 from 8am to 5pm.

Modified fitness timetable. Swimming lessons will not run. Both creches will be closed.

Whaleback Golf Course

Whaleback Golf Course will be open on Monday 23 September 2024. The course will be open from 6.30am to 8pm. The Driving Range will be open from 7am to 8pm. Last bucket is at 6.45pm. Public holiday rates apply.
