In May 2023, Council requested that Officers proceed with the delivery of a road safety improvement project at the intersection of High Road and Augusta Street (Report EN-007-23 High Road and Augusta Street, Willetton - Federal Black Spot Project). A copy of the report can be

As part of this project, the City will also be installing two new road safety platforms on Roxby Lane (adjacent to 147 and 169 High Road). Note: The platforms will match the existing one adjacent to 3 Yampi Way.
Construction of the road safety platforms is scheduled for Sunday 17 September 2023 between 6am and 6pm. The actual date is subject to weather. The line marking of the safety platforms will occur after this date. Please note that a separate letter will be provided for notification of the road safety improvements at the intersection of High Road and Augusta Street.
During the Roxby Lane works, some temporary daytime traffic control will be in place to close Roxby Lane between Augusta Street and Yampi Way with a diversion in place and some limited access for delivery vehicles if required. It is appreciated that some inconvenience may be caused, however, every effort will be made by the City to minimise this.
