Requests to prune City street trees.

Pruning requests

Requests for street trees to be pruned can be for a number of reasons.  Reasons for pruning include:

  • branches overhanging property
  • branches overhanging the roadway
  • branches overhanging the footpath
  • sight line issues / can't see past the tree
  • dropped branch - refer to Branch Pickup Request
  • Click here  to report if branches or leaves are:
    • touching power lines
    • growing through power lines
Please note, pruning will not be undertaken to reduce shading of gardens, improve television reception or to provide or improve views.  

Main roads

Main Roads WA are responsible for the maintenance of trees along:

  • Roe Hwy;
  • Albany Hwy;
  • South St;
  • Orrong Rd; and 
  • Leach Hwy
