City of Belmont, City of Canning, City of Gosnells and the Happiness Co. have teamed up to deliver the King of the Hill skateboard and scooter competition series this March.

The series aims to increase awareness of the support services for young people and help break the stigma around mental illness, encouraging young people to feel comfortable to speak up about mental health. One in four young people experience a mental illness during their teenage years and getting help early means bouncing back sooner.

There will be heaps of huge prizes including cash prizes for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each age division. The first three events in March will be qualifiers in order to gain entry for the final hosted by City of Canning at the Willetton Skate Park on 21 March 2020 from 2pm - 6pm.
