King of the Hill Skate & Scooter Competition Series
The City of Canning teams up with Cities of Belmont and Gosnells to deliver an annual Skateboard and Scooter Comp Series across skate parks in the South East corridor.
The series aims to increase awareness of the support services for young people and help break the stigma around mental illness, encouraging young people to feel comfortable to speak up about mental health. One in four young people experience a mental illness during their teenage years and getting help early means bouncing back sooner.
There will be heaps of huge prizes including cash prizes for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each age division. The first three events in March will be qualifiers in order to gain entry for the final hosted by City of Canning at the Willetton Skate Park on 21 March 2020 from 2pm - 6pm.
Stay tuned here for more information on the competition series including registration forms, terms and conditions, a run down of dates and details and an announcement of our naming sponsor for 2020.
