The City is has developed a guide designed to make your community event a success, with a step-by-step guide for staging an event within the City of Canning. IMPORTANT: COVID Event Plans

Events of more than 500 people that require a Local Government Authority approval will be supported with COVID Event Guidelines and COVID Event Plans to ensure more events are held in WA.

The COVID Event Guidelines and Plans will ensure event organisers play their role in keeping Western Australians safer, reduces the potential risk and spread of COVID-19 and gives event-goers more confidence to attend and participate in events.

COVID Event Plans need to be submitted to the relevant Local Government Authority where the event is proposed to be held, along with all other documentation.
