Situated on the beautiful, sprawling Woodloes Homestead site, Cannington’s Church with a Chimney is a perfect rustic setting for any event. Built in 1874 by architect and timber mill owner Francis Bird, the heritage-listed homestead offers attractive photo opportunities. Used as a congregational church in the 1800s, the petite red and white bricked church is now non-denominational, with volunteers from the Canning Districts Historical Society working to maintain it.
The Church with a Chimney is available for casual hire for suitable events such as weddings and naming ceremonies. Bookings of the church are by arrangement with the Canning Districts Historical Society. The church is not suitable for social functions.
