Click & Collect at Canning Libraries

Our Click & Collect service has been very popular and we are encouraging customers to continue using the service as our libraries reopen.
Cannington Library reopened on Monday 18 May and will be followed by Riverton and Willetton Libraries from Friday 29 May.

What days and times can I collect my Click & Collect order?

Collection will be offered at the collection points:
Tuesday 26 May and Thursday 28 May 9am – 5pm - Willetton Library
Wednesday 27 May 9am – 5pm - Riverton Library

Can I Click & Collect items from Cannington Library?

Items can be reserved, borrowed and returned as usual at Cannington Library.
Riverton Library and Willetton Library will resume on Friday 29 May.

Can I still Click & Collect after libraries are open?

Being able to order online and reserve items for customers to collect will continue to be offered. Changes to Click and Collect will be that customers are now able to come in to the library to collect and issue their items onto their library card.

How will I be notified when my order is ready to collect?

Customers will be notified by their usual method of contact ​- email or SMS.

Do normal loan periods apply?

Normal loan periods will apply on items borrowed via Click & Collect.

Will there be a contactless way to return items?

Yes – absolutely. Items can be returned to Riverton Library via the contactless After Hours Returns chute. The Riverton Library After Hours Returns chute is open 24/7.

What safety measures be in place during the COVID-19 pandemic?

You can rest assured that COVID-19 safety measures will be enforced in book handling and at the collection point.

How can I browse and borrow items?

Any available item can be reserved from our online catalogue. Reserve your items here.

What if I miss my collection day?

From Friday 29 May, Click & Collect items will be available from within the library, held for you to collect for 7 days from your notification.
