The City of Canning is partnering with the Department of Communities and Inclusion Solutions WA to participate in the Socially Inclusive Communities WA for 2019/20 which provides support to sports clubs and community groups by building capacity, increasing knowledge and developing skills to ensure that people living with disability are valued and included within local activities.
As part of this initiative, the City is offering FREE mentoring opportunities with Inclusion Solutions for local community clubs and groups.

The City has a number of grants available that aim to support clubs in a number of aspects. The Active Spaces team are here to support clubs identify grants that will assist their projects or programs as well as providing assistance during the application process.
