Are you a Community Connector?

There are a lot of people in our community that are doing amazing things to keep their neighbourhoods connected and to support the more vulnerable members of our community. Over the coming weeks we’re sure our community will continue to band together and evolve new ways of connecting and supporting each other. We’d love for you to let us know about these initiatives as they pop up so that we can help keep the community informed of the networks and supports that are out there.  We’re keen to hear from community members who are already running community support networks and initiatives as well as  community members who need some support to turn their great ideas into positive action

To register to be part of our Community Connectors network fill out the form below. Community Connectors will be linked with a Neighbourhood Officer who will provide access, resources, information and practical support. Our Neighbourhood Officers will be using the information we gain from Community Connectors to build community maps that list the different support networks and services in each neighbourhood so that we can connect the more vulnerable members of our community with information and support.

If you’d like more information call 1300 422 664 or email connect@canning.wa.gov.au
