The Cities of Armadale, Canning and Gosnells Alcohol Action Plan 2019-2022 (PDF 2.2MB) is the first of its kind in the state. The plan sets the actions and strategies needed to reduce alcohol-related harm across our communities.
Drinking alcohol can cause harm from intoxication or regular consumption. These harms not only hurt the person with problematic alcohol use, but can also impact their loved ones and the community.
After consultation with the community, it was identified that local solutions were the best way to reduce alcohol-related harm.
It was agreed that coordination between local governments was needed to reduce the impact of alcohol consumption. As such, the Armadale, Canning and Gosnells Local Drug Action Group was established to implement the Alcohol Action Plan.
