Community and healthcare

• My Aged Care – Your guide to aged care support and services.
• Aged Care Guide – Your guide to aged care living.
• Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme – This scheme involves volunteers visiting older people. Find out who can be visited, why the scheme is important and how it's evaluated.
• Association for Culturally Appropriate Services (AfCAS) – AfCAS promotes quality, accountability and access to culturally appropriate services for our Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) seniors, regardless of their geographic location.
• Umbrella Multicultural Community Care Finder Services – Care finders support vulnerable older people who cannot arrange services without intensive support and do not have family members or friends who can help. Care finder services are provided at no cost, as they are fully funded through Primary Health Networks.
• Live Up: Welcome to the Upside of Ageing – LiveUp is powered by a not-for-profit that is funded by the Australian Government. We're focused on helping people stay independent through healthy ageing. We've created a comprehensive list of exercise classes, product suggestions, and local groups so you can age your way. • Carers WA – Improving the lives of carers across WA.
• Carer Gateway – Carer Gateway is an Australian Government program providing free services and support for carers.
• Grandcarers Raising Grandchildren – Our objective is to support grandparent carers and their grandchildren to live full lives.
• iDareDream – Offers grandchildren being raised by their grandparents, opportunities to participate in the same activities and programs most other children enjoy.
• Wanslea's Grandcare program – provides confidential support and advice to Grandparent carers. When registered with Wanslea Grandcare, they can help Grandparent carers access any financial support they’re eligible for, provide parenting information and support, and help Grandparent carers access helpful services, support groups and resources. • Safe and Found – Safe and Found WA is an initiative introduced by Western Australia Police Force (WA Police Force) and Australia Medic Alert Foundation, dedicated to assisting Police in locating persons who may be at risk of becoming lost or reported missing.

Respect and social inclusion

• Centenarian Arts – We fight the negative ageing stigma through breaking down stereotypes & sharing stories. The benefits of inter-generational exchanges, collaboration and learning are experienced by our project participants.
• Concessions WA – Centenarian Initiative – Public Housing Rent. The Department of Housing provides public housing tenants and occupants reaching 100 years of age with a 100% rent concession. Other householders will continue to have their rent calculated as per standard public housing rent.
• Canning Purple Road Project – An art project to share stories and raise awareness about Elder Abuse.
• Forget Me Not Café The Coffee Club – Riverton on the 2nd Wednesday of every month from 1.30pm to 3.30pm. A social club for people living with dementia and their carers.
• Become a Dementia Friend by Dementia Australia WA – Help your community become dementia friendly.
• Alzheimer’s WA – Alzheimer’s WA advocates, educates, supports and engages the 48,000 Western Australians living with all types of dementia.
• Dementia Action Week – Act now for a dementia-friendly future this Dementia Action Week. Find out how you can get involved this Dementia Action Week and learn more about our dementia initiatives.
• National Dementia Action Plan – This action plan will establish practical actions to improve the experiences of people living with dementia and their carers. The plan will apply to government, health and aged care providers, people living with dementia, their carers and families, the broader community and researchers.
• ECU Social Ageing (SAGE) Futures Lab – We are developing evidence-based practice and policy to support the adoption of sustainable socio-cultural models of care in the aged care sector.
• Every Age Counts – EveryAGE Counts is an advocacy campaign aimed at tackling ageism against older Australians.
• Advocare – Empowering Older People in WA. Our services are free, confidential and unbiased. We empower older people by giving them information and choice so they can make informed decisions to live the life they want on their terms.
• Add Older Peoples Rights Service (OPRS) and Northern Suburbs Community Legal Centre – Northern Suburbs Community Legal Centre provides the Older People’s Rights Service (OPRS) which offers legal advice, advocacy, peer education sessions and social support to those at risk of or experiencing elder abuse, with a focus on positive ageing.
• Citizen’s Advice Bureau (CAB) – CAB is an independent, not-for-profit organisation connecting people all over Western Australia with information and services so they can make independent and informed decisions.
• Compassionate Communities – Public Health Palliative Care – Public Health Palliative Care. Compassionate Communities Network aims to promote and integrate social approaches to dying, death and bereavement in the everyday life of individuals and communities.

Housing

• Seniors Housing Advisory Centre (SHAC) – Provides Housing options and education for seniors.
• Shelter WA – Advocacy agency providing housing and accommodation support and information for seniors.
• Mission Australia – Mission Australia helps vulnerable older Australians age with dignity. Our residential aged care facilities provide essential care and support to vulnerable older people in our communities who are at risk of homelessness.

Social participation

• Department of Communities' WA Seniors Strategy and Action Plan – An Age-Friendly WA: State Seniors Strategy is a 10-year whole-of-government strategy developed by the Department of Communities to support older Western Australians to live their best life as they age.
• Seniors Recreation Council of WA: Add Life to Your Years Directory – Healthy Ageing Through Activity.
• Council on the Ageing WA (COTA WA) – Council on the Ageing WA, the peak body for older people in Western Australia.
• Department of Veterans Affairs – We support those who serve or have served in defence of our nation, and their families.
• GRAI – GLBTI Rights in Ageing Inc. Supporting older (50 years +) LGBTI people.
• Connect Groups – Helping support groups and individuals.
• Act Belong Commit – WA’s longest running mental health promotion campaign encourages everyone to keep active, connect with others and do something meaningful for good mental health and wellbeing.

• National Seniors Australia – National Seniors Australia is a not-for-profit organisation established in 1976. With the help of our members and supporters, we fight hard to achieve better outcomes for all older Australians.
• WA Self-Funded Retirees Inc. – Western Australia Self Funded Retirees Inc better known as WASFR represents and promotes the interests of fully and partly self-funded retirees residing in WA. We are open to membership from all over the State.

Transport

• Seniors Smart Rider – Conveniently your Seniors SmartRider card is combined with your Western Australian Seniors card. It is double-sided, being a Seniors SmartRider on one side and a WA Seniors card on the other.
• RAC Community Education Workshops – We're providing a range of complimentary workshops and presentations for different stages of your journey. From towing workshops to bike riding lessons, we're here to help WA travel safely on and around our roads.
