Request a deputation to address Council

A deputation is an opportunity to address Council about any item that is the responsibility of the City of Canning or relating to an item on a Council meeting agenda.

Deputation at an Ordinary Council Meeting can be made by an owner, applicant or member of the public with an interest in an item. 

A deputation presented at an Agenda Briefing must relate to an item on the agenda.

Timeframes

You will need to register your deputation request online by 12 noon on the day of the Agenda Briefing or Ordinary Council Meeting. If approved, your deputation will be granted with a maximum of 10 minutes to address the Council.

• Your contact details are required when lodging this request.
• You will be advised of the outcome of your request, prior to the meeting.
