Roadworks

The City of Canning is responsible for the management and maintenance of 600 kilometres of roads.

To make sure residents travel safely, the City allocates funds annually for the maintenance and upgrade of roads. This includes the construction of traffic management measures, which help provide comfortable travel within City limits.

Roadworks projects are underpinned by the City's Integrated Transport Strategy (PDF 8.7MB). This strategy considers all modes of transport and the movement needs of all users, now and in the future.
