Payment Methods

You can pay using BPay through your online banking account.

Your 17 digit reference number can be found in the payment methods section of your rates notice.

You can pay by direct debit from your nominated cheque or savings account.

You can also pay the direct debit weekly, fortnightly or monthly.

To request direct debit be set-up, please complete the payment arrangement request form.

You can pay your rates over the phone with your credit or debit card (Visa and Mastercard only).

Before you call

• Have your 17-digit payment reference ready as you will need to enter it. Please note – the automated phone message will request a 6-digit number, however you must use your 17-digit payment reference. Using the 6-digit assessment number will not work.

Please call the City of Canning on 1300 963 103 to make a payment.

You can pay in person at the City of Canning Administration Centre:

• Address: 1317 Albany Highway, Cannington, Western Australia, 6107
• Office hours: 8.15am to 5pm, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays)

We accept payment by credit or debit card (Visa and Mastercard only).

Cash payments can be made at your local Australia Post office.

The City of Canning is now cashless and do not accept cash payments at any City facility.
