Election Signage

Election signage can be placed on public or private land provided certain requirements are met.

Election signage on private land is not to be erected or installed until 12 September 2025 and the sign is to be removed no later than 48 hours after the election. Owner's permission is required to erect or install signage on private land.

Election signage on thoroughfares and public land is not to be erected or installed until 20 September 2025 and is to be removed no later than 7 days after the election.

The sign is:

• Not located on or over a footpath.
• Is located more than 2 metres from a carriageway.
• Is at least 30 metres from any intersection.
• Is not erected within 1.5 metres of any part of a crossover.
• The sign is free standing and no greater than 2 square metres
