The Lens on Biodiversity Community Photo Competition is officially open for Biodiversity Month 2025. Amateur photographers of all ages and skill levels are invited to showcase their creativity while celebrating Canning’s incredible natural environment.

From rich flora and captivating fauna to tiny pollinators and fungi networks, we want to see your photos that capture the essence of Canning’s biodiversity.

Three categories: children (12 and under), youth (13-17) and adults (18+) – everyone has a chance to be recognised 📸

Prize pool worth more than $1,400 🏆

Selected entries showcased in a public exhibition and community celebration later this year 🎉
