Community Organisation Support
The City of Canning acknowledges the tremendous value local community organisations provide our residents. In recognition of this outstanding work, the City of Canning is committed to ensuring their continued success.
Through the City, community groups and not-for-profit organisations can access responsive, tailored support to strengthen the health and wellbeing of their organisation. Together, we can deliver improved outcomes for the Canning community.
The City’s Community Development Officers can provide information, guidance and support on areas such as:
- governance and incorporation
- strategic planning
- marketing and promotion
- grant writing
- volunteer recruitment and support
- access and inclusion
- budgeting and funding opportunities
- networking
Requests for support can be made throughout the year and will be assessed dependant on staff capacity.
