Pedestrian Safety Riley Road Riverton

Pedestrian Safety Riley Road Riverton

I am petitioning again for safer crossing options between Riley Road (where Warooga Childcare Centre is) and Rivermoor Loop in Riverton. Being a parent where my kids go to Riverton Primary, I see way too often young kids and parents with young kids trying to navigate crossing the busy road especially after school. There has been too many near misses with cars vs bicycles and kids, something needs to be done before an accident happens. The first petition was done in August 2022, unfortunately nothing has progressed since.
For more information please contact the head petitioner.
