Toby’s World Café is a welcoming, inclusive space for carers (family members) and young adults with disability to connect, grow, and shine together.
This program focuses on building confidence and capacity for carers, many of whom have been out of the workforce for years, by providing leadership, connection, and purpose in a supportive environment. At the same time, young people with disability are encouraged to discover their talents, build confidence, and develop skills through performing arts.
On stage: Share talents, express creativity, and build confidence.
Off stage: Connect, chat, and enjoy meaningful moments together.
Sessions are led by a carer, with support from the Mission Australia team, creating a space where friendships grow, stories are shared, and everyone is supported.
Thursdays | Three Part Series | 22 Jan, 12 Feb and 12 Mar | 3.45pm - 5.45pm | FREE
