Beananging Kwuurt Institute (BKI) EOFY Art Sale
Event Details
Beananging Kwuurt Institute (BKI) is having an EOFY art sale!
Beananging Kwuurt Institute (BKI) is a not-for-profit Aboriginal organisation located in Queens Park Western Australia, on the former site of Sister Kate's Children's Home. BKI runs an art group for the Queens Park community. Art group members are both Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal, and through painting, weaving, and beading, they explore and express their cultural stories. This creative collective fosters a supportive environment where both emerging and experienced artists can develop their skills, learn new techniques, and share their unique perspectives. The group not only nurtures artistic talent but also promotes health, healing, and community connection through the power of art.
This is a unique opportunity to purchase authentic Aboriginal art at affordable prices. The art sale will feature work from both established award-winners and promising emerging artists.
By joining us you are supporting a vital community organisation dedicated to supporting the Aboriginal community and celebrating Aboriginal heritage. We look forward to seeing you there!
