Carers are an essential part of our community.
In honour of all carers, we invite you to attend a wellness event followed by a celebration luncheon at Canning River Eco Education Centre on Thursday 16 October 2025.
Draw Care – Carer Support in Culturally Diverse Communities (9.30am to midday)
Come join us for an insightful workshop where we will discuss how digital media can support people with dementia, carers, family or community members in culturally diverse communities.
Carers will learn about the support available, resilience building and self care strategies. This in-person event will feature expert speakers and interactive sessions.
Carers Celebration Luncheon (12.30pm to 1.30pm)
Join us for a special Carers Celebration Luncheon. This event is a fantastic opportunity to relax, connect with other carers, and enjoy a delicious meal in a serene setting. Let's celebrate all the hard work and dedication that carers provide every day.
