Getting Here
Mid Week Eats is located at the new location of Riverton Reserve West (Laurel Close) next to the Riverton Leisureplex at 67 Riley Road. We have moved to this new larger area at Riverton Reserve to provide more space for the event and our attendees.
Free shared onsite parking is available as normal at the Leisureplex facility with a small overflow parking facility available (including ACROD, see below) also which includes free bike racks for those considering riding their bikes down.
We encourage you to ride, walk, or catch public transport. Use the Transperth Journey Planner to plan your journey.
As with all events near residential areas, please be patient with the staff as they assist traffic entering and exiting the event. Please also be courteous and mindful of local residents as you enter and leave the event and do not park on resident verges.
See below for map:
Is the event accessible?
ACROD parking and accessible toilets are available as well as additional facilities inside the Leisureplex (please note this building closes at 8:30pm). Please display your ACROD pass.
For those in a wheelchair, path access comes off the car park near these bays. Accessible toilets are also available.
Dogs
We all love our fur babies and dogs are certainly permitted at Mid Week Eats, however please ensure they remain on a leash at all times. Given the number of small children and other dogs, we recommend only social/well behaved pups.
Food/Dietary Requirements
Should you have any specific dietary requirements, we recommend you check out the Facebook page or this page where each food truck will be listed. You can then jump onto their pages and review their menus.
We will do our best to ensure we cater for vegan, Halal, vegetarian, dairy free and gluten free options.
It is the attendees' responsibility to ensure they check that their food choices suit their diet.
First Aid
St John Ambulance will be onsite if you require medical attention.
Weather
In the event of bad weather, please check the City of Canning Facebook page where we will update you with any changes or cancellations. You can also subscribe to any updates by selecting 'Going' or 'Interested' on the Facebook event.
ATMs
There will be no ATMs on site but all of our vendors have EFTPOS facilities if you are looking to purchase food and drink.
Cost
Everything onsite is FREE besides the food trucks of course! If you would like to purchase from the food trucks, they accept cash or EFTPOS.
Photography and Videography
We will have event photographers and videographers documenting the event. If you do not want your photo taken, please let the camera person know.
