For Parents and Carers of Children 3-5 Years
The Telethon Play School is a free 7-week education program that supports parents from diverse cultural backgrounds, with children 3 to 5 years of age, where there may be some challenges identified.
The program gives children (with support from their caregiver) flexible, yet structured play experiences that nurture a sense of safety, whilst building self-confidence and a curiosity for learning and engaging with others. The facilitators gently build connections with the children, supporting each child to engage in activities and interactions at their own pace. The program creates opportunities for children to build and develop their social and emotional skills.
Interacting and communicating with others, and feeling safe and confident enough to do so, is fundamental to children’s successful transition to primary school.
The Program is 2 sessions per week and Parent and Child attend both sessions together. Please register your interest today!
Sessions will run Wednesdays and Fridays (Commencing Wednesday 18 February to Friday 3 April 2026) from 9:30am-11:30am
