2024 Australia Day Operating Hours

Civic and Administration Centre

The City of Canning Civic and Administration Building will be closed for Australia Day Friday, 26 January 2024 and will reopen at 8.15am, Monday 29 January 2024.

Waste Collection

Collection services for rubbish or recycling, will be operating as normal.

The Ranford Road Waste Transfer Station will be open from 8am to 4.15pm.

CREEC will be closed on Australia Day Friday, 26 January 2024 and will reopen on Saturday, 27 January 2024.

Leisureplexes

The Cannington and Riverton Leisureplexes will be open on Australia Day Friday, 26 January from 8am to 5pm.

Swimming lessons will not run. Both creches will be closed.

Whaleback Golf Course

Whaleback Golf Course will be open on Australia Day Friday, 26 January. The course will be open from 5.30am to 8pm. The driving range will be open from 6am to 8pm. Public holiday rates apply.
