2024 Easter Holiday Operating Hours

Civic and Administration Centre

The City of Canning Civic and Administration Building will be closed for the Easter holidays period from Friday 29 March 2024 to Monday 1 April 2024.

We will reopen at 8.15am on Tuesday 2 April 2024.

Waste Collection

Bin collections that normally operate on Good Friday will instead be collected on Easter Saturday.

Waste Transfer Station

The Ranford Road Resource Recovery and Waste Transfer Station will be closed on Good Friday, but will be open as normal on Easter Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

Ranger and Community Safety Services

Our Ranger and Community Safety Services will continue to operate 24 hours a day.

For requests of an immediate or urgent nature, please call on 1300 422 664. Press option 1 during the closure period to report urgent requests.

All libraries will be closed for the Easter holidays period from Friday 29 March 2024 and will reopen on Tuesday 2 April 2024.

Hillview Intercultural Community Centre

The Hillview Intercultural Community Centre will be closed for the Easter holidays period from Friday 29 March 2024 and will reopen on Tuesday 2 April 2024.

Canning River Eco Education Centre (CREEC)

CREEC will be closed for the Easter holidays period from Friday 29 March 2024 and will reopen on Tuesday 2 April 2024.

Leisureplexes

Good Friday, 29 March 2024: Closed

Easter Saturday, 30 March 2024: open 7am – 6pm (no swimming lessons).

Easter Sunday, 31 March 2024: open 8am – 5pm. Modified fitness timetable. No swimming lessons. No creche/play centre

Easter Monday, 1 April 2024: open 8am - 5pm. Modified fitness timetable. No swimming lessons. No creche/play centre

Whaleback Golf Course

Whaleback Golf Course will be open during the Easter holidays period with the following operating hours:

• Course and Pro Shop: 5.45am – 8pm
• Driving Range: 6am – 8pm. Last bucket at 7.30pm.

Youth Services

Youth Services will be closed for the Easter holidays period from Friday 29 March 2024 and will reopen on Tuesday 2 April 2024.
