Camco Engineering Mid Week Eats brings fusion flavours to Riverton Reserve
The City of Canning is inviting the community to enjoy three flavour filled Wednesday evenings as Camco Engineering Mid Week Eats returns to Riverton Reserve this February and March.
Kicking off the series is Asian Fusion on Wednesday 25 February, from 5pm to 8.30pm, offering residents a great opportunity to enjoy a relaxed evening of Asian inspired cuisine from food trucks with the local community. The opening night will set the tone for the series, celebrating the Lunar New Year welcoming the Year of the Horse.
The series continues with Country BBQ on Wednesday 4 March, before wrapping up with Flavours of India on Wednesday 11 March, each delivering a unique food experience with exciting stage performances.
Mayor Patrick Hall said the event series was a great way to bring people together during the week.
“Camco Engineering Mid Week Eats is about creating simple yet welcoming opportunities for our community to connect and appreciate the wonderful variety of food,” Mayor Hall said. “These themed food nights offer something for everyone and encourage residents to enjoy their local spaces while sharing a meal with family, friends and neighbours.”
All three events will take place at Riverton Reserve from 5pm to 8.30pm and are free to attend.
The event series is delivered as Camco Engineering Mid Week Eats, with sponsorship from Camco Engineering, grant funding from Lotterywest and supported by Perth Airport.
Glen Bailey, CEO, Camco Engineering said, “Camco Engineering has been part of the Canning community for more than 30 years, and we’re proud to support this fantastic event. Many of our people live and work right here in the City of Canning, and we applaud Council’s efforts to enrich our community through events like Mid Week Eats.”
Camco Engineering Mid Week Eats forms part of the City of Canning’s ongoing commitment to delivering inclusive, community focused events that encourage connection through shared experiences.
