Local Planning Policies Review out for Public Comment

The City of Canning is currently advertising the following draft local planning policies for public comment:

• LP.01 Residential Development
• LP.02 Tree Retention and Planting – Development (Old Policy No. LP.09)
• LP.04 Child Day Care Premises in Residential Area (Old Policy No. LP.11)
• LP.05 Advertising Signs (Old Policy No. LP.07)
• LP.11 Public Consultation of Planning Proposals (Old Policy No. LP.02)

The City is also proposing to revoke the following local planning policies:

• LP.04 – Exemptions from Development Approval
• LP.05 – Bentley Regeneration Design Guidelines
• LP.10 – Incentive-Based Development
• LP.12 – Outbuildings and Sea Containers in Residential Areas
