Storage of excess amounts of materials

The City will investigate possible unauthorised developments associated with the storage of excess amounts of material at commercial or residential properties (e.g. storage or salvage yards).

If your request is about rubbish and disused material on residential properties, please refer to Rubbish on Private Property.

If your request is about rubbish and material on construction sites, please refer to Building Complaints.

Issues with neighbours

People are sometimes unaware that their activities are causing a problem. The City encourages all residents and business operators to talk to their neighbours about any issues before making a complaint. Visit the resolving disputes with neighbours page for more information.
