Bins left out after the collection date
Reporting bins left out after the collection date.
Common reasons why bins are left out on the verge:
- high levels of contamination
- overfull
- too heavy (bins over 70kgs cannot be pick-up by the waste trucks)
- resident has not walked the bins back into the property.
If a bin is left out for more than 24 hours after the collection, that is considered too long. Bins can be placed out no earlier than the evening before the collection day.
Bins must be stored on your property between collections, not on the footpath, verge or street
