The Adaptation Game

The Adaptation Game (TAG) is a facilitated, tabletop game simulating the impacts of climate change in the local Canning area, helping residents to connect, prepare and build resilience.

Come along and play out real world ways to help you prepare and protect your home and community from extreme weather events like heatwaves, fires and storms.

Who should play?

• Suitable for people aged 16+, however younger people may play with a parent/guardian.
• Suitable for groups of family, friends or communities.
• You don’t have to be “good at games” – TAG is a cooperative game where players work together, it’s not competitive.

Game details

• The game is played with 3-4 people.
• The game is led by a facilitator, so you’re guided the whole way through.
• Play as your ‘real life’ self in an alternate future reality.
• The full version of the game is played over 3-4 hours.
