RAC Bike Basics: Learn to Ride for Children

As part of Community Safety Month, the City is excited to offer RAC’s Bike Basics: Children’s Learn to Ride workshops in your local neighbourhood.

Enrol your children in this two-hour workshop where they will learn how to ride a bike for the first time. Suitable for ages 3 years and over.

Industry experts, People on Bicycles will cover a range of topics including:

  • encouraging toddlers and small children to start balancing and learning to ride
  • getting children and teenagers to ride and be competent and confident at navigating low traffic environments safely
  • learning what a safe bike looks and feels like.

People on Bicycles is a leading local provider of bicycle training who have been delivering workshops to the community since 2015 with the goal to get more people to ride a bike for commuting and fun. With their friendly and hands on approach, you will be riding with confidence in no time.

Bicycles and helmets will be provided.
