2024 Anzac Day Operating Hours

Civic and Administration Centre

The City of Canning Civic and Administration Building will be closed for Anzac Day, Thursday 25 April 2024 and will reopen at 8.15am, Friday 26 April 2024.

Waste Collection

Collection services for rubbish or recycling, will be operating as normal.

Waste Transfer Station

The Ranford Road Resource Recovery and Waste Transfer Station will be open as normal on Anzac Day: 8am – 4.30pm (vehicle entry closes at 4.15pm).

Ranger and Community Safety Services

Our Ranger and Community Safety Services will continue to operate 24 hours a day. For requests of an immediate or urgent nature, please call on 1300 422 664. Press option 1 during the closure period to report urgent requests.

Canning River Eco Education Centre (CREEC)

CREEC will be closed for Anzac Day on Thursday, 25 April 2024 and will reopen on Friday, 26 April 2024.

Leisureplexes

Cannington Lesiureplex and Riverton Leisureplex are open from 12pm – 5pm, with a modified fitness timetable. No swimming lessons. No Creche or Play Centre.

Whaleback Golf Course

Whaleback Golf Course will be open on Anzac Day Thursday, 25 April 2024. The course will be open from 5.30am to 8pm. The driving range will be open from 6am to 8pm. Last bucket is at 7.30pm. Public holiday rates apply.
